hey. =) sorry for the late upload guys. have been kinda busy ;) but here it is.
a summary on what we did that fateful day, we ate. and walked a whole lot. i got three bracelets, and a whole load of great memories =)
as usual, i only remember to take photos of the food, after eating them..but i got the next best thing. we had chicken rice balls for lunch, no pics, but i did get the bill....
me han and zhan went for cendol after. and i gotta say,
they are the best ever in my 20+ years of living =P. the dude running the place was kinda gay tho =)
we went up St. Paul's Hill after the cendol, vowing solemly that we will go back for seconds, and maybe thirds =)
left to right, su han ling zhan.
the pokok melaka, the very one Parameswara saw and named melacca after (nods head seriously)
we walked around for a bit and went sight seeing. that was pretty hilarious. here i was, full blooded malaysian and all, never actually visited the historical sights of melacca before. so we decided to check out ships and stuff like that. did learn some pretty neat stuff. =)
i actually thought the ship above was land locked some while back, till i saw these. they are pics of when they were building the poor land locked ship..on land...
this is actually a cannon (or an artilery gun) on one of the ships we boarded. not sure why there are lights in the cannon. not using it to blast aunt fanny outta the sky then......
we finished looking at the sites, and proceded to mr gay's cendol stall on jongker's street. apparently, chinese dudes prefer mr gay's, while non-chinese dudes prefer solemn and sad's someplace else. i actually think mr gay has huge amounts of charisma going for him.....
we walked a little more then decided we should go to the eye on malaysia (funny how when it was at kl i never bothered but now it's in melacca suddenly we went there...), have dinner and head home. this was the whacamacallit that we sat in. =)
satay celup for dinner, though i (again) failed to take pics of it.....we spent half and hour trying to locate the place. i've been there twice. huh. so much for my vaunted sense of direction. then we headed home. next up (cmon!!) penang!!! =D
